I have always liked Panera and I always made a point of going there at least one during our trips to CA but now I no longer have to go months in between visits! So I am very happy the Oro Valley location opened up! I am loving the fall butternut squash ravioli and wish it was on the permanent menu. I know first hand how clean this restaurant is (daughter works there) and that is always a BIG PLUS in my book. For a chain restaurant, you can count on food that is fresh and tasty and doesn't seem like a chain restaurant. The bakery items are all so yummy - hard to choose my favorite but I would say either the snickerdoodle cookie or bear claw.

Our family has been by this panera several times for lunch & dinner. Be careful in the drive-through as the order seems to come back incorrect about 25% of the time. Went to breakfast (indoor) last Sunday. Cup of mocha came with side of avocado and tomato :( Outside of cup was so dirty that it was surprising no one noticed. Sent back & finally brought to me after we finished breakfast. No offer to Comp. I will say that most of the people working there are very nice but one of the managers can be a pill. We've been back several times because the food is really good (& aren't a lot of choices Oro Valley). Will amend our review if experience improves.

Very expensive for the extremely small portions. I got the Turkey avocado BLT and it was nearly $9. While it tasted ok, it was probably the smallest FULL sandwich I've ever seen. The rest of the family was disappointed with their portion sizes as well. One of my son's got the bbq chicken flatbread. It was mostly spinach and just a couple pieces of chicken. He was disappointed. We won't be back. Instead we'll drive a little further down the road to Beyond Bread where you can get a quality sandwich at a decent price.. as well as a reasonable portion size.

I was kind of skeptical of eating here after looking at the reviews, but was glad I did. I came at breakfast and ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich with coffee. I admit the restaurant was not packed and I was a little surprised being Saturday morning. My order was taken and I was served in a timely manner. The sandwich was hot and freshly made. Altogether, a pleasant experience. I even ordered a cinnamon roll from their baked goods and it was a hard decision to make given all the items looked tempting. I definitely will be back

Tonight was our second visit for dinner. The food was good and so was the service. Between the 2 visits I have tried to order 3 different things for dinner only to be told they were out of what I wanted. Minus a star for that with it being at 4:30 before the dinner rush and not crowded.

Terrible!! I was so excited about having a Panera Bread open up less than 2 miles down the street from me!! ...until my partner and I ate there the other day. It was 10:30 am and we were out shopping and decided to have a meal. We chose Panera. I ordered the turkey sausage, egg white, & spinach power sandwich ($4.39) and my guy ordered the Sourhwestern Chicken Flatbread sandwich ($7.59) which also came with chips. The sprouted grain bagel my sandwich came on was amazing! Chewy and crispy at the same time...this was its only merit. The egg white was rubbery, there was one...ONE spinach leaf on it and one thin, anemic looking tomato slice. And I'd honestly forgotten about the turkey sausage as I never tasted it and didn't think about it until I was taking my last two bites. My guys flatbread was equally devoid of filling. He ordered it because of the black bean hummus that is supposed to come on it...of which there was none. I own and run a fermented hummus company...there really wasn't any on the flatbread. Matter-of-fact, there wasn't much of anything of his sandwich. But hey! The chips were good! Our iced teas were also good...refreshing and fresh tasting. At $1.89 each for the regular size (you DO get refills if you eat in) they had better be. I don't ask for much when I eat out, which isn't often. I simply ask for fresh food, a reasonable portion of it for the price paid, and employees who are helpful and look like they enjoy their job. This Panera has none of these qualities. Save your money and go to Beyond Bread at Ina & Oracle.

This particular location is great. I went during the lunch rush and was very impressed with the staff. They are like a well-oiled machine! The manager stood at the pick up window and double checked every order and greeted customers. This is one of my favorite chain restaurants. I most enjoy the Asian chicken salad (fresh leaf lettuce, cilantro, almond slivers, chicken and wonton crisps with a sweet & tangy vinaigrette). The Mac and cheese is a bowl of carb-y joy and the creamy tomato is my favorite soup.

Great place for lunch. They have an online ordering system and even a drive thru which is handy. Came in at noon and the line went pretty fast. The lady at the counter was nice and friendly. Everythings looks and tastes fresh. Ordered the Fontina Grilled Cheese and Broccoli Cheddar on the pick 2 menu a cupcake and a pellwgrino for under 10 dollars. Not bad for the area.

Given the lack of dining options in Oro Valley we find ourselves at this Panera at least once a week. Food is good, service is good, healthy options, and nice selection of items on the kid's menu. Very good!

Very nice, clean and very helpful staff. The water station is in the back, which is a bit strange. I will definitely be back.

This location is a hot mess! Every single time I get something through the drive through it is incorrect. On Friday evening I ordered items from the drive thru including deserts and sandwiches. I didn't check anything but to make sure there were the items in the main bag. The order was screwed up! I called the manager and he agreed to refund me if I came back in. Unfortunately I live a significant distance from there. When I went back in 2 days later on my own time, with a reciept, to get a refund the manager offered to just replace the items that they were missing on Friday night. Mind you it's 10 a.m. In the morning and she wanted to give me a sandwich instead of refund me my money of all the missing item after I drove my butt all the way back... no sorry, no here is a scone, no nothing... If you decide to make the horrible decision to have a meal at this location, make sure you look over all of your items in detail before pulling away. Trust me you will end up disappointed.

First visit. Messed up my order. This will also be my last visit. Too bad, we need more good restaurants in OV.

Second time I have been here. Both times order was messed up. They appear to have no quality control over the kitchen. Waited 30 minutes for a breakfast sandwich. Mentioned that they would provide some sort of discount and they did refund the bill.

We are familiar with Panera and were disappointed with the food. The service was good and the supervisor kept things moving even though they we very busy. One small mistake with the order but well within expectation for a business open only a week. However All the food was Very bland across the board. Not sure why but the food is central to the point in being there , so that's why we rated them so poorly.

Portions were very small for the price. I've been to other Panera Bread restaurants and that was never the case. Menu seemed limited in comparison to other Panera's.
